7-day cabbage soup detox diet


Cabbage doesn't hold to many pesticides because a ton of spraying isn't required to grow it. This is a very great vegetable as to contain of beta carotene. What a so-called "SUPERFOOD".

How to choose a "superb cabbage"?
We must ensure that the leaves of the cabbage heads are tight, heavy and firm. For most cabbage varieties, you'll want to make sure the outer leaves are shiny and crisp. To avoid any with leaves that show signs of yellowing. This cabbage head must be stored in the refrigerator crisper.

Cooking cabbage soup

You may take this cabbage detox soup unlimitedly on any day of your diet. Boil all below together until soft. I usually will add in a little chicken bone (no fat) for flavour.

The ingredients are as follows : -
- 64 oz water (add more if needed)
- 6 large onions
- 2 green peppers
- 3 whole tomatoes
- 1 cabbage
- 3 carrots
- 1 bunch celery (add herbs and seasoning as desired)

Drink 8-10 glasses of water each day to prime the body to shed weight as well as perform detox activities. Absolutely NO CAFFEINE OR ALCOHOL.

Remember to drink a lot of water to help flush away the toxins – especially first 3 days. If not you’ll feel headache, dizzy, weak, not well, all things because your body is loaded with toxins released from the liver during this 7 days detox.

Day 1 ~ Fruits only except banana, durian, mango.
Watermelon, honey dew, sun melon is best because these fruits help to burn fat faster. No fruit juice and dairy products (eg. milk). The first day starts with fruit because it is a natural way to normalize the body and prepare it for the upcoming days of the diet

Day 2 ~ Vegetables only – any type – cook anyway.
No potatoes. Broccoli & cauliflower are good as these are negative calorie food and are good antioxidant. The vegetables you will eat today are for fiber as well as nutrition. Vegetables have a moderate quantity of carbohydrates - but more importantly, they are rich in minerals and vitamins. The fiber activates your system for the detox process.

Day 3 ~ Fruits and vegetables
No potatoes no bananas. Day 3 is an effective way of combining day 2 and 3 and getting the benefits of both days. Your body chemistry is changing because you are not getting any refined carbohydrates, saturated fats, excessive sodium and artificial flavour enhancers and additives. Your body is getting completely natural nutrition – which will optimize the weight loss process.

Day 4 ~ Bananas and Skim Milk
You can eat up to 8 bananas and 3 glasses of skim milk to restore potassium levels. Day 4 is meant to make up for the reduced levels of calcium (from milk), potassium (from bananas) and carbohydrates and fiber (from bananas). Although you are allowed to have 8 bananas today, you might not have the craving to eat all the bananas.

Day 5 ~ Meat & Tomatoes
You won’t feel like eating today, but MUST finish the tomatoes. This is iron especially for those low blood pressures or anemic. 6 - 8 Tomatoes, 160gm fish meat, chicken breast, beef or lamb. Today is the day to make up for all the protein in your system. The meat will give you protein and if you consume fish, you will get your share of Omega 3 Fatty acids which do wonders for health. The tomatoes give you fiber and minerals – in particular lycopene which is a super-food for the human body. Eating the tomatoes will also aid in flushing out the system

Day 6 ~ Meat & Vegetables
Vegetables and 160gm fish meat, chicken breast, beef or lamb. Day 6 is a lot like Day 5 – only that you need to eat as many vegetables instead of restricting yourself to tomatoes.

Day 7 ~ Vegetables and fruits & fruit juices
You are now on your last day of the diet. You might feel a little weak this morning because your body has not consumed too much carbohydrate in the last 2 days. Today, you can eat fruits, vegetables and vegetable juices.
Brown rice is optional but not recommended if you want to see weight loss.
Most of my friends have tried this recipe and has loss approximately 4kg in a week and most important is, they feel more energetic and healthier and easier to control the weight after this diet.

    Your detoxification diet is often difficult to implement. So to maximize its performance, you need to eat and dosage science after the end of this diet. factor is not to eat too much.
